Hello Sir/Ma'am, I had a career in Sales for about 7.5 years. I left that job in October 2022 partly due to frustration and partly to take care of my father who was suffering from Alzhiemer's disease. He passed away on 7th January 2024. I started doing a serious job hunt post that to get into a Data Analytics job. I have learnt lot of Data Analytics tools and taken certifications, but I am not able to find a job in Analytics as of now. I dont wish to get back to Retail Sales roles. However, the way things are currently with respect to family and career, I feel I might be forced to get back into Sales because I am not able to get into an Analytics job. I am married for more than 5 years now and I have a 1.5 year old son. Please help me find a way out. I badly need to get to work.

I am facing a career and job problem and need guidance. I am a mechanical engineer by profession but started my career as a software engineer at Accenture in Feb, 2021. However, I was laid off due to a minor issue in Nov, 21. After that, I started my own digital marketing work, but it failed in March 2024. Since then, I have applied for many government jobs but was not selected for any. Now, I am confused about what to do next—whether to find a job or continue preparing for government exams. If I choose government exams, I am unsure which one to focus on. Right now, I am preparing for bank exams, but I need help in choosing the right career path. Also it is getting difficult for me to even get a job in any industry because of 3 years gap. Now what should I do because now I m facing money issues too? Note: I have worn a red triangular moonga in gold on my right-hand ring finger. Questions: 1) Which career path is good for me for the life time? 2) And when will I get a job?
