Dear Sir, My friend Dr. Sarmila Hansdah had a skin lesion on her left breast since one year. After multiple investigations there was no confirmatory diagnosis. This past Sep-Oct 24 she was diagnosed for breast cancer in Vellore Cancer Hospital and undergone partial removal/surgery of breast. After biopsy of removed tissue, the doctors suggested complete removal of left side breast. And was undergone surgery again on next day. After that whole body CT scan was done to eliminate any other possibilty. They found some problem in thyroid . But FNAC of thyorid didn't show any confirmatory diagnosis. And she was taking medicines for hypothyroidism for at least last one year . So doctors are not sure that those thyroid lesions are malignant not not . Sarmila was asked to visit for follow up after 2 months. 1.And we all are worried that should we opt for thyroid surgery right now or wait for sometime Or take second opinion .
