I am an established Cinematographer. I was settled in Mumbai from July 2012 until December 2023. Last one and a half year there has been no work and I have run out of money. Meanwhile I am a good cook and also extremely passionate about food. My friend from college suggested last year that we start a food business. I came back from Mumbai Dec 23, thinking I can collaborate with her on food. Last six months I have been trying to set the business with her, but I realise it's not her priority. Just a secondary option while she has other things on her plate. What should I do? Should I stay in kolkata or go back to Mumbai? Will cinematography work get consistent in future or should I have a parallel source of income? Is Goa a good place to relocate with a food business and I stay closer to my cinematography career? Money has always been an issue in life. How do I resolve that?
