About The Native Concern:

I am a 39 year old female from Delhi and was excellent in studies but I have been struggling for more than a decade post MBA when I took job in Operations though I had studied Finance and Marketing as I lacked confidence and couldn't handle placement pressure/ clear interviews. I did the job for 5 years and there was lot of politics at job and they forcefitted me to a factory role which I did for 1.5 years but eventually quit. I was not able to clear interviews and my gap increased to 3 years. Pre-MBA, I had worked in IT for 3 years , so I tried to reskill myself and learnt data science/ analytics but couldn't land a role, took whatever came my way, switched 2-3 companies in 1.5 years but left as the work wasn't good / was affecting my health. It's been a year and I am hardly getting calls or not able to convert them. I have done my post graduation from one of the premier institutes in the country , so there's hardly any avenue left for further studies in india and it's way too expensive to live and study abroad. It has affected my personal life as well as I couldn't get married and now my family thinks I am a loser and have no friends. Because of my indecisiveness , I couldn't decide when I was young as to who's right for me and later because of my age and my career/financial instability, It got more difficult.
