About The Native Concern:

Hi, I need help finding the right career choice for me. I had pursued my Bachelors degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and then MBA in Finance. I got a campus placement in a French Investment bank, in Mumbai, where my work was mostly technical - I was working on development and maintenance of software systems for the bank. So it was more of a technical role than finance oriented role. I had joined as a fresher and worked with the bank from 7th May 2018 to 31st August 2021. Within 4 months of joining the company I knew for sure that it wasn't the kind of job I would like to be doing for the rest of my life. While working I also realised I'm very uncomfortable with technology (I had 1 year drop during engineering earlier). My performance at the bank always met expectations but I constantly felt like I had no life of my own since work hours were hectic and did not like my job at all, although I must say my manager was a good support for me. But each day, going to office just felt like a struggle in itself. Going back to office after a holiday felt very painful. Ever since I have been constantly trying to figure out where my passion lies - an industry or a job profile which feels easy to me. Something I would enjoy working on for long duration of time too. But I have never been able to discover my passion. I moved to Hyderabad in 2020 and got married in 2021 and have been living here since. One year ago I enrolled for the LL.B course in Hyderabad. Currently I'm in my 2nd year of this law course. Although I must mention that it happened by chance because my husband wanted to pursue it and we thought we would be good to do it together. But I find myself constantly drawn to the creative world - fashion, interior design etc. Keeping in mind that I am very much open to acquiring the skill sets required for any such career option if I don't already possess them (it's never too late to start I would say), it would be great if you could help me with below: - Which would be the right career path for me? Something I would both Enjoy and Excel at? - Few things on my mind right now are - An e-commerce business to sell imported bags in India - An e-commerce business to sell apparels - Legal profession (since its been easier and more interesting when compared to Engineering, also my mother and brother are both advocates practicing in High Courts which may help in getting clients) - Interior Design (my husband is into politics and construction field and might be able to help me with the required contacts) Please feel free to suggest something totally different from what I have mentioned if you think it would be a better choice for me looking at my birth chart. I eventually want a career where I don't mind working over the weekends or during holidays - something that does not feel like work and I would enjoy. Some details about me which might be useful: I was born on 7th August 1992, in Nizamabad (Telangana) - my maternal grandparents place, but I have been raised in Maharashtra (my father is from Nanded, MH) - did my schooling and engineering in Aurangabad and then my family moved to Mumbai where I pursued MBA and started my first job. I lived in Mumbai for about 6 years. I moved to Hyderabad in June 2020 and have been living here since. Regards, Nidhi
