About The Native Concern:

For the past two and half years, I have been preparing for Indian Army officer entries. After 4 attempts I was able to clear it on June 6, 2023, and unfortunately got merit out in the All India final list. Now age is one of the concerns that I'm having 1 attempt left for the Indian Army. From the initial I had an interest in becoming a pilot in IAF but due to my education qualification I couldn't appear for it, and now aiming for Army Aviation crops through this entry. I'm working hard and I believe that the universe will be in my favor and I believe in myself that I'll achieve it in the very next attempt which is in Nov/Dec 2024 or January/Feb 2025. Will I be able to achieve this? Being a Optimistic person I always look forward to all other opportunities that I have. As the age is concerned now I'm shifting my focus on the backup plan of becoming a Commercial Pilot. Here comes the major concern point because of that I'm not able to take further steps. As the commercial pilot course is very expensive and I don't want to take any chance that can lead to anything that could affect my family. I want to get clear guidance/answers on whether should I go for this. Is it the right step to go for this as a career option? Will I be successful in it? (I'm not doubting my capability or strength). The concern is regarding the investment that going to be put in and assurance that this career will suit me well as I don't want to waste more time getting into a desired career. Could you please direct me on whether should I go for it or switch to my other backup plan( mentioned below)? After introspection and analysing all the opportunities that I have as well as my main interest. I'm also wondering if I should go for the Civil services examination for IPS. I know what it'll take to choose this path, and I'm willing to do everything that I can to achieve my goals. I'm looking for assurance about which option I should go for a mainstream career option whether to step into an Aviator commercial pilot course or should I start preparing for civil services exams or I'll be able to get selected in my last attempt of Army? Again the concern is regarding the delay as being 26 years old now I'm looking forward to build a career with a fixed paved path for the journey. I'm requesting you to please guide me in this confusion to take the right path. Remark: I have currently worked as a Business Development Executive at an Architectural Outsourcing firm a major domain of the USA, Australia, and Canada for the last 1 year and 6 months.
