I wanted an urgent consultation for my father who has been in the ICU since the last 10 days. I saw the website and the slots are only available for September mid. I don't think I will be able to wait till then. Priyanshu ji told me to write to you over email to get a slot. Would really really appreciate if I can get guidance as this is not a normal case My father's blood vessels in the brain got blocked/had a clot and his right side of body is not functioning. He is currently on oxygen support as well. Background- My father has always been into social work since his early years. Went to jail during emergency, was heavily involved in politics etc knows the top politicians in the current regime etc. The problem is that he has severe anger issues. He used to abuse my mother both physically and verbally.There were multiple instances of him beating me and my sisters as well(one of them is no more). He had a very flourishing business but that came to crumble because of his adulterous nature and anger issues. He left my mother, sisters and me(I was 9 months old) and ran away with his secretary for almost a month and half. They were separated while he came to court for a hearing. While all this was going on his brothers kept my mother and us with them so that my mother could not think of moving on in life. Once he came back, my mother gave him another chance. He was still abusive towards her and used to beat her. My older sister basically grew up in this environment and was suffering from schizophrenia. She jumped off the 5th floor of our house and survived somehow in 2002.He arranged for treatment at AIIMS delhi through his contacts. She survived but her health was always up and down. My father's behaviour at home still did not change and he was still a violent man.He threw me, my mother and sister out of the house in 2013, 3rd November, Diwali night at 2, because of a fight with my other sister. It was 4 months before my board exams.He kept my oldest sibling with him because he knew that we would have to come back because her health was not good. My sister again jumped from the 4th floor in 2016 and passed away in 2017 Post her death, my father became insecure that he does not have any way of keeping us in check since the sister had died. He started picking up fights at regular intervals. In June, he had a fight with my sister over him abusing her and he was about to hit her so I came in between and saved her. He got agitated and started hitting my mother. I again came in between and abused him. After this incident he messaged his older brother that he had a life threat from us and that we would all kill him. He also forwarded this message to my mother to scare her to fall in line. After this we decided to leave him and left with all we could in half a day's time. We started a new life in a different part of the city in Delhi, post that. It was me, my sister and mother. My mother is a school teacher, so my father along with his 3-4 accomplices used to go to my mothers school and try to create a scene multiple times. We ignored it. He used to write us emails and abused us regularly. We used to ignore that. He used to accuse my mother of having affairs with other men. We ignored that. The boiling point for us came in 2020, when he reached my sister's house where she lived with her in-laws to create a scene there. My sister and jiju were not there so my sister's father in law and mother in law entertained him for a bit. Post, we filed a restraining order against him and filed a Domestic Violence case against him and one case to secure our right on his ancestral property. Covid pandemic had started so he got frustrated and the frequency of emails increased. He also filed multiple false cases against us in retaliation once the lockdown got lifted. In one of the senior citizen cases that he had filed, he mentioned that we should take care of him, give him 1-2 lakh rs per month and also stated that he had danger of life from us which are opposite of each other. In mediation, he did not show once that he was guilty of anything but he used to blame us for everything In between, he used to get his associates to call us and tell us that he got admitted in the hospital and is not well and that we should come and visit him. He has a history of faking scenarios to gain sympathy. We used to get worried and call the hospital and talk to the doctor and he used to say it is minor or all is well. THIS HAPPENED 3-4 TIMES. In June around 10th 2023, his friend messaged us and told us that he had passed away. We were in a state of shock. We called him and he started abusing me and my mother. We remembered that it was the anniversary of the day we left him 6 years ago. Now, we got a message 10 days back. Where it said- that he is suffering from a heart attack. We ignored the message for a few days, but then got a call from his associate that he has a clot in his brain and his right side is paralyzed. His sister who is also like him sent his pictures to my maama and told him to share it with us. I called the hospital and the junior doctor told me that he actually has issues on his right side and the side is very weak and most probably beyond recovery. He is also given oxygen in between to help with breathing. Currently, his sisters and brothers are taking care of him. Their whole family is very toxic and they used to instigate my father to beat my mother. They used to live on his money. There have been multiple fights between my father and his brothers so the family is very messed up. I have recently started a new job and shifted to bombay along with my mother on July 14. The push for moving was given by lacode- 5007. My father is in Delhi. It took us a lot of effort to build our lives and now we are back at square one. My mother has not lived a day peacefully because of him. We do not have any money and I am the sole earning member and my mother is dependent on me. Even in the hospital we heard that his behaviour is still the same. Wanted your guidance on how we should go about it. Sorry, the email is too long but I want to give you the context.
